Tour itinerary:

Our motorbike tour through Andalusia starts in Málaga after a hearty breakfast at the hotel. The transfer from the airport to the hotel is organised by us and the handover of the motorbikes takes place in the late afternoon. The journey to and from Málaga is individual. (We are happy to assist you with this. If the flight arrival/departure times do not fit with our travel dates, we will be happy to book an extra night for you).  Motorbike transport can be booked with us.

  • 9 nights in selected 3* hotels (or equivalent)
  • 9 breakfasts/dinners
  • 8 guided day tours

1. Day (201km)

We start our tour on a winding road with wonderful curves and let ourselves be spoilt by the landscape, the curves and the wonderful climate and get a foretaste of the next days.

The first section takes us to the posh town of "Marbella", where the beautiful and rich live. Sean Connery, for example, has settled here and it can't be all that bad where he lives.

From Marbella we drive along the glittering Mediterranean to San Pedro de Alcantara. Here we set the indicator and now drive between the national parks "Sierra de las Nieves" and "Sierra de Grazalema". Of course we make a stop in the most famous "white village" "Ronda" and have a breathtaking view from the famous "El Tajo" bridge down into the "El Tajo" gorge. Then we pass such beautiful villages as Juzcar, Setenil de las Bodegas, along the Rio Guadalete to Zahara de la Sierra and because we are now in curve fever, we drive into the Sierra de Grazalema and pass the pass "Puerto de las Palomas" at 1.357 m altitude. In "Grazalema" we reach our hotel. Every day can go on like this !!!

2. Day (202km)

Today begins as the first day ended. Beautiful small, winding roads lead us through the nature reserve. We pass beautiful villages again, like "Ubrique" and "Castellar de la Frontera". While we are here, we have to take a close look at "Gibraltar" and make a detour to the "United Kingdom of Great Britain".

We drive back via small detours and let the wonderful day come to an end with a cool glass.

3. Day (280km)

After a hearty breakfast, the next stage takes us again criss-crossing the magnificent landscapes of the "Alcornocales" nature park to the southernmost point of the Spanish mainland. "Tarifa" is the Mecca of windsurfers and on a clear day we can see Morocco and, with a little luck, whales and dolphins that pass the Strait of Gibraltar every day.

We continue towards "Jerez de la Frontera". A visit to the world famous bodega "Tio Pepe" is intended and very impressive.

Perhaps a bottle or two of sherry will fit in our luggage and we can look back on the tour with a glass at home.

The next hotel and a cosy bed are already waiting for us.

4. Day (180km)

Today we want to take it easy and cruise to one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. Here, "Seville" awaits us with dreamlike palaces and squares and we are glad that we can reach our hotel there so early in the day and "breathe in" the city of flamenco. What a dream !

5. Day (295km)

This day also brings wonderful routes and a lot of variety and we cross the "Extremadura". This is where the famous and most delicious ham, the Serrano ham, comes from. After another indescribable day with motorbike routes that could not be invented better, we reach "Cordoba". We immerse ourselves in the historical city and want to look around a bit and of course marvel at the "Mezquita Catedral". Our hotel is located in a former monastery and we let ourselves be transported back to the Middle Ages.

6. Day (200km)

We drive through the nature reserve "Parque Natural de las Sierras Subbéticas" and make our way on winding back roads to "Granada". The name alone has a special ring to it and we immediately think of the famous "Alhambra" and the many royal palaces. Here, everyone can take a few strolls through the old town according to their own interests. For dinner we were to meet in a former monastery, how could it be otherwise with this backdrop.

7. Day (285km)

Unfortunately, our tour is slowly coming to an end, but there are still some great and winding routes in the programme for the remaining days and we can still look forward to some highlights.

The day begins with a ride to the heights of the famous "Sierra Nevada" - what a name! All Western fans will be pleased, because we visit the famous gallows and filming location "Fort Bravo", where the little boy (Charles Bronson) had to play the harmonica for the first time. Of course, we are talking about the classic "Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod" (once upon a time). Hoping that no one has been shot and everyone is firmly back in the "saddle", we set course for "Almeria". Here, directly on the Mediterranean, we drive a few kilometres parallel to the water to our next hotel. Our hotel is directly on the beach and we can take a refreshing bath, thinking of our loved ones at home - but please no gloating !

8. Day (348km)

Of course, the last day takes us one last time along the Mediterranean Sea towards "Málaga" (start/finish point). Shortly before that, however, we want to make a very short but intense detour into the interior of the country and take in the last curves of this wonderful spot on earth. This way we can spend the winter evenings at home in peace.

Tired but overjoyed, everyone should fall into bed and sleep happily.

The next day is our individual departure and we have to say goodbye to you and once again :

Hasta la próxima (until next time)

In 10 days (depending on the chosen tour) we explore the southern and western regions of Spain. From Málaga, we ride through several nature reserves on back roads with thousands of bends, always along the Mediterranean Sea, through mountains, historic villages and endless expanses. Many impressive motorbike routes and cultural highlights make this tour an unforgettable moment. A real adventure far away from wet, snow and cold in Europe and dreamlike motorbike routes and moments !

1. Day (342km)

On a winding route and with a view of the mountain panorama of the Pyrenees, our hearts beat faster and we reach the beautiful Pyrenean town of Ripoll - time for a first chat over a cosy "café con leche" to sort out the order of the participants.

From there, our journey takes us into the central Pyrenees with volcanic landscapes, nature parks, with dense forests and on winding back roads along mountain rivers and over mountain passes deeper and deeper into the mountains. The wonderful and hardly used winding roads through Spain, France and Andorra make every motorcyclist's heart beat faster. Our first stage destination is the small town of Vielha.  Here we have a nice hotel in the centre of the village and review the first day together.

2. Day (272km)

From Vielha, we take breathtaking Pyrenean roads that take us all the way up to the ski resorts in Aragón. We drive through fantastic canyons (e.g. Cañon de Añisclo), mountain passes and small villages where time seems to have stood still. Above the lake of Yesa we have a great hotel in a former monastery with a view of the big lake and set up camp here for the next night. Even though this hotel can only boast **, it is worth at least four stars and impresses with breathtaking scenery and great service. A real insider tip!

3. Day (350km)

After a hearty breakfast, the next stage takes us back through the beautiful landscapes of the Pyrenees with canyons, valleys, mountain passes and much more to the Atlantic Ocean. Here the fresh Atlantic breeze blows around our ears and we enjoy the harsh climate and the view from the cliffs. Passing the coast, we reach our hotel directly on the beach of Cueto in Santander.

4. Day (344km)

We take another deep breath of Atlantic air and set off again. We make a stopover in the UNESCO-designated medieval village of POTES. From there, of course, we cross the famous "Picos de Europa" with their breathtaking peaks. Our next destination is the valley of the "vultures" - Valle de Sedana. More than 300 vulture families live here. Our hotel is located in a small medieval village and is framed by impressive rock formations.

5. Day (295km)

This day also brings wonderful stretches and a lot of variety and we reach a small hotel made of old natural stones and a lovely ambience, where one or the other can also relax their muscles in the Jacuzzi. It is a pity that a beautiful day has to end.

6. Day (368km)

We drive through further nature reserves and of course make a small detour to the "Laguna negra", a sensation located at approx. 1,800 metres !!!! From there we pass beautiful lakes and small medieval villages to our next overnight stop - Huesca.

7. Day (364km)

Unfortunately, our tour is slowly coming to an end, but there are still some great and winding routes in the programme for the remaining days and we will drive via La Seu d'Urgell to Andorra. Here we can stock up on tax-free articles (perfumes etc.) and will also spend the night here.

8. Day (370km)

The last day of course takes us through the high Pyrenees one last time and we drive back to the starting point via the foothills. Time and weather permitting, we drive to the "Cap de Creus", the easternmost point of the mainland and a breathtaking view from the lighthouse over the glittering Mediterranean Sea. We wave to the "Costa Brava" once more as we drive past. Back in the lively town of Lloret de Mar, we get off our motorbikes and enjoy the wonderful climate and delicious inn with typical "TAPAS" of the highest class. The next day we have to leave individually and say goodbye to you once again:

Hasta la próxima (until next time)

In 8 days we explore the wild Pyrenees, the border mountains between Spain and France.

From Lloret de Mar, after the rocky Mediterranean coast, we take back roads with thousands of bends, always through the Pyrenees to Santander on the Atlantic. After the green forests of the Basque Country, it's back across the desert-like landscapes of northern Spain. A real adventure in the middle of Europe and unforgettable motorbike routes and moments!

Of course, we don't need to mention that all these destinations represent only a small excerpt from the many possibilities and that only dreamlike, hardly used and small side roads lead to all destinations. Monasterio de Cáceres

Of course, we don't need to mention that all these destinations represent only a small excerpt from the many possibilities and that only dreamlike, hardly used and small side roads lead to all destinations. We are asked again and again how we know these routes. We'd like to tell you...... but we'd rather do that another time.

We explore the wild Pyrenees, the border mountains between Spain and France. In Lloret de Mar, we have booked one of the best hotels for you and, after the rocky Mediterranean coast, we will drive along side roads with thousands of bends through the Pyrenees up into the high mountains. We will experience the varied landscapes of the Spanish border region, which are still really natural here and hardly travelled on. Those who only know the Alps will find their final happiness here and won't be able to get out of their amazement. A real adventure in the middle of Europe and unforgettable motorbike routes and moments!

The "ruta via de la plata" translates as "silver route" or "silver route". It is a former trade route that runs from southern to northern Spain and connects the four independent regions of Andalusia, Extremadura, Castile & León and Asturias.

On this route, which we've mapped out perfectly, you'll experience the cultural, historical, architectural, geographical and culinary diversity of these regions.

The "ruta via de la plata" was originally created by the ancient Romans in the 1st century BC and developed over time into one of the most important trade routes on the Iberian Peninsula. Precious metals and many other trade goods were transported here. Later, loot from the Latin American colonies was also transported.

In the Middle Ages, the Moors used this route to conquer the area from the south up to the north. The name also dates back to this time, as the word "plata" means "silver" in Spanish, but has its origins in the Arabic "balath", which also means "paved road", among other things.

We start our "ruta via de la plata" in Lloret de Mar. We spend the night here near the beach and get to know each other. The motorbike handover also takes place here. We discuss the tour in detail over an excellent typical southern Spanish dinner.

1. Day (295km)

We leave our first hotel, the Augusta Club in Lloret de Mar, hoping that everyone has had a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast. Day 1 takes us up into the Pyrenees. We reach our first hotel, the Parador La Seu d`Urgell, on roads with hardly any traffic and great views of the magnificent valleys. A first-class Parador awaits us here.

2. Day (371km)

Now we take the N260 up into the Pyrenees and head west - the Atlantic is calling. But first we make a stopover and the next Parador awaits us. Here in the Parador Sos de Rey Católico, a small medieval town awaits us. A tour through the narrow old alleyways is a must and the view leaves you speechless. We then meet for dinner together.

3. Day (316km)

After a hearty breakfast, we head up into the ski region of the Pyrenees, taking one bend after another. In the late afternoon, we arrive at our next stop in a small valley. This former farmhouse, the Hotel Rural la Puebla with the charm of the past, is surrounded by other small medieval houses in a valley where up to 350 griffon vulture families live and breed. We marvel at the flying skills of these unique birds, which have a wingspan of up to 3 metres, over a "boot beer" (or a glass of wine if you prefer).

4. Day (325km)

After a hearty breakfast, we drive up to the famous "Picos de Europa" mountain range with its peaks up to 2,700 metres high. What a panorama! After so many fantastic routes that make every motorcyclist's heart beat faster, we return to our accommodation for the night. We set up camp for the night in Cangas de Onis. Either before or the next day, we make a detour to the Atlantic coast, which has created its own scenery here with waves and wind.

5. Day (355km)

Today is a very challenging day and takes us a little further along the "ruta via de la plata". In Benavente, at the edge of the Silver Trail route, we spend the night in the former monastery Parador de Benavente. This former monastery was completely destroyed during the Spanish/French war in 1826 and has been lovingly rebuilt and now houses a fantastic hotel.

6. Day (406km)

And again it's time to "saddle up" and we ride along great routes through varied terrain to our next stopover. We ride past reservoirs and through cork oak groves to the old town of Cáceres.

7. + 8. Day (364km)

Today we continue on well-maintained roads to the next highlight. After a number of winding roads, we reach the "Pearl of Andalusia". You could spend weeks here in Seville and enjoy the flair of Andalusia. For this reason, we extend our stopover here by a day. Seville is the capital of the southern Spanish region of Andalusia and is famous as the "cradle of flamenco", which is mainly practised in the Triana district. The most important landmarks include the ornate Alcázar Palace, which was built under the Moorish Almohad dynasty, and the bullring Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza from the 18th century. The Gothic cathedral of Seville is home to the tomb of Christopher Columbus and the Giralda, a minaret converted into a bell tower.

9. Day (348km)

Now we experience the beauty of Andalusia once again. We drive through endless olive groves, which are only crossed by small roads, to Ronda. Here we briefly visit the famous bridge over the Tajo gorge. After a delicious "cafe con leche", we tackle the last few kilometres and are treated to another breathtaking stretch of road. In the late afternoon, we arrive at our fantastic Costa del Sol hotel in Torremolinos. Those who want to can enjoy a dip in the waters of the Mediterranean. In the evening, we meet for our last tapas together and discuss the tour once again in fast-forward. We will be happy to incorporate your suggestions into our next plans, but of course we are also grateful for any praise.

10. Day (0km)

Our tour ends today and unfortunately we have to say THANK YOU for a great tour together. We bid you farewell with all these unforgettable impressions and hope to see you again on one of our next tours.

Hasta la proxima (see you again)

On this route, which we have worked out in detail, you will experience the cultural, historical, architectural, geographical and culinary diversity of these regions.
Originally, the "ruta via de la plata" was laid out by the ancient Romans in the 1st century BC and developed over time into one of the most important trade routes of the Iberian Peninsula. Precious metals and many other trade goods were transported here. Later, it was also used to transport loot from the Latin American colonies.
In the Middle Ages, the Moors used this axis to conquer territory from the south all the way to the north. The name also goes back to this time, because the word "plata" means "silver" in Spanish, but has its origin in the Arabic "balath", which also means "paved way", among other things.

1. Day (216km)

In "Ronda" we reach our hotel. Every day can go on like this !!!

2. Day (225km)

Today begins as the first day ended. Beautiful small, winding roads lead us through the nature reserve. We pass beautiful villages again, like "Ubrique" and "Castellar de la Frontera". While we are here, we could take a close look at "Gibraltar" and make a detour to the "United Kingdom of Great Britain".

We drive back via small detours and let the wonderful day come to an end with a cool glass in Tarifa, the southest point of Spain with a stunning view crossover to Africa.

3. Day (209km)

4. Day (213km)

Today we want to take it easy and cruise to one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. Here, "Sevilla" awaits us with dreamlike palaces and squares and we are glad that we can reach our hotel there so early in the day and "breathe in" the city of flamenco.

Our hotel is located in a great location with view over the city Córdoba and we let ourselves be transported back to the Middle Ages.

6. Day (235km)

7. Day (322km)

Unfortunately, our tour is slowly coming to an end, but there are still some great and winding routes in the programme for the remaining days and we can still look forward to some highlights.

The day begins with a ride to the heights of the famous "Sierra Nevada" - what a name! Here, directly on the Mediterranean, we drive a few kilometres parallel to the water to our next hotel. Our hotel is located directly at the famous canyon "Chorro"  and we can take a refreshing bath, thinking of our loved ones at home - but please no gloating !

8. Day (266km)
